Abstract

Abstract M-banking has become a fast-growing banking service in the past decade. The development of m-banking is due to the advantages of conducting banking
transactions. However, when individuals decide to use m-banking, they will also
consider the system’s weaknesses. Therefore, this study examines TAM in
increasing m-banking adoption through transaction convenience and perceived risk.
This study proposes a conceptual framework by exploring the factors of ease and
benefit of a system. If the individual feels the comfort and benefits of a system, the
individual will feel the transactions convenient and be interested in adopting
m-banking. The adoption process is supported by the guarantee of bank security
against financial transactions accessed through m-banking. This study contributes to
developing the technology acceptance model with transaction convenience and
perceived risk to increase intention and actual usage of m-banking.
