Abstract

This research was conducted to examine the impact of workload and work stress on employee performance at PT XYZ in Cirebon, West Java. The study uses a quantitative approach and applies multiple regression analysis to explore the relationship between the variables. A saturated sampling technique was employed, meaning all employees were included as respondents. Data collection was carried out using a questionnaire based on a Likert scale ranging from 1 to 5, and the responses were analyzed using the SPSS software. The findings indicate that: 1) workload has a significant and positive effect on employee performance, and 2) work stress has a negative effect on performance, although this effect is not statistically significant. Overall, the study’s results are expected to enhance the understanding of how workload and work-related stress influence employee performance.
