Abstract

The purpose of this study is to asses how training initiatives and Person-Job Fit affect enhancing sales perfomance in the Ciayumajakuning region. The degree to which human traits and professional goals align is known as "person-job fit," while training aids salespeople in developing their skills and competencies. This study uses multiple linear regression analysis as part of a quantitative methodology. Salespeople in the study area were given questionnaires to complete in order to collect data. The analytical findings demonstrate that training and person-job fit both positively and significantly impact sales succes. According to rthe coefficient of determination (R²), these two variables account for 37.2% of the variation in sales perfomance, with other factors not included in this study influecing the remaining percentage. Futhermore, the findings show that Person-Job Fit is the most dominant factor contributing to Sales Perfomance. This study highlights the importance of ensuring individual-job compatibility and enhancing the effectiveness of training to optimize the perfomance of sales personnel. Therefor, this research provides insights for human resource management in formulating sales perfomance improvement strategies based on individual-job aligment and systematic competency enhancement through training.
