Abstract

Latar Belakang: Wabah COVID-19 telah menyebabkan krisis kesehatan mental
dan publik global serta eksperimen psiko-sosial yang sangat besar yang
menyebabkan stres serta perubahan perilaku belajar Mahasiswa Fakultas
Kdokteran Universitas Swadaya Gunung Jati Cirebon. Masalah kesehatan mental
yang disertai oleh perubahan perilaku belajar pada mahasiswa akan menjadi
hambatan utama untuk kesuksesan akademik. Penurunan motivasi, konsentrasi,
dan interaksi sosial mahasiswa yang juga merupakan faktor penting bagi
mahasiswa untuk sukses dalam pendidikan yang tinggi.
Tujuan: Untuk mengetahui Hubungan Kesehatan Mental pada masa Pandemi
COVID-19 terhadap Perilaku Belajar Mahasiswa FK UGJ
Metode: Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian Observasional deskriptif dengan
desain penelitian Cross Sectional Study. Sampel pada penelitian ini adalah 263
mahasiswa fakultas kedokteran di Universitas Swadaya Gunung Jati Cirebon.
Penelitian ini menggunakan instrument kuesioner yang di adaptasi dari penelitian
sebelumnya dengan jurnal yang berbeda dan kemudian dilakukan uji validasi dan
reliabilitas ulang kepada Mahasiswa di Fakultas Kedokteran Universitas Swadaya
Gunung Jati Cirebon.
Hasil: Tingkat perilaku belajar di dominasi oleh Angkatan 2018 baik dalam
megikuti pembelajaran secara aktif, menghabiskan lebih banyak waktu untuk
mengerjakan tugas dan juga menggunakan handphone dalam menunjang kegiatan
perkuliahan maupun tugas, diikuti oleh angkatan 2019. Angkatan 2020 memiliki
masalah kesehatan mental yang lebih tinggi, diikuti dengan angkatan 2021.
Mahasiswa angkatan 2018 dan 2019 memiliki kesehatan mental yang lebih
rendah.
Kesimpulan: Terdapat hubungan antara kesehatan mental pada masa pandemi
COVID-19 terhadap perilaku belajar mahasiswa FK UGJ pada mahasiswa angkatan 2018 dan 2019. Tidak terdapat hubungan antara kesehatan mental
terhadap perilaku belajar pada masa pandemi COVID-19 pada mahasiswa
angkatan 2020 dan 2021. Kata Kunci: Kesehatan Mental, Perilaku Belajar, Mahasiswa Fakultas Kedokteran.

Background: The COVID-19 outbreak has caused a global public and mental
health crisis as well as enormous psycho-social experiments that have caused
stress and changes in the learning behavior of medical students at the Gunung
Jati Swadaya University, Cirebon. Mental health problems accompanied by
changes in student learning behavior will be a major obstacle to academic
success. Decreased motivation, concentration, and social interaction of students
which are also important factors for students to be successful in higher education.
Objective: To find out the correlation between mental health during the COVID
19 pandemic and the learning behavior of medical students at Swadaya Gunung
Jati University Cirebon.
Methods: This research is a descriptive observational research with a cross
sectional study design. The sample in this study was 263 students of the medical
faculty at the Swadaya University of Gunung Jati Cirebon. This study used a
questionnaire instrument which was adapted from previous studies with different
journals and then validated and re-tested to students at the medical faculty of
Universitas Swadaya Gunung Jati Cirebon..
Result: The description of the level of learning behavior is dominated by the 2018
class both in actively participating in learning, spending more time on
assignments and also using cellphones to support lectures and assignments,
followed by the 2019 students. The 2020 students has higher mental health
problems, followed by with the class of 2021. The students from 2018 and 2019 year have lower mental health compared to other classes.
Conclusion: There is a relationship between mental health during the COVID-19
pandemic and the learning behavior of FK UGJ students in the 2018 and 2019 batches. There is no relationship between mental health and learning behavior
during the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020 and 2021 students.
