Abstract

Latar Belakang Dislipidemia adalah merupakan suatu kelainan kadar lemak dalam darah tubuh. Kelainan yang terjadi berupa peningkatan kadar kolesterol total (hiperkolesterolemia),penurunan kadar High Density Protein (HDL),peningkatan kadar Low Density Protein (LDL) atau peningkatan kadar Trigliserida dalam darah (hipertrigliserida). Penanganan hiperkolesterolemia dilakukan secara farmakologi dan non farmakologi. Secara farmakologi obat standar untuk hiperkolesterolemia adalah simvastatin dan obat tradisional yang dapat digunakan salah satunya adalah kelopak bunga rosela memiliki kandungan aktif flavonoid, antosianin, yang dapat memperbaiki profil lipid. Tujuan Untuk mengetahui pengaruh ekstrak kelopak bunga rosela (Hibiscus Sabdariffa) dalam menurunkan kadar lemak darah pada tikus putih hiperkolesterol. Metode Penelitian ini bersifat eksperimental dengan rancangan pre and posttest control group design. Hewan coba 30 tikus jantan setelah diinduksi pakan tinggi kolesterol, dibagi secara acak kedalam 5 kelompok (n=6), yaitu satu kelompok kontrol negatif, satu kelompok kontrol postif diberi simvastatin dosis 0,18 mg/kgBB, kelompok perlakuan 1, 2, 3 diberi ekstrak kelopak bunga rosela 125 mg/kgBB, 250 mg/kgBB, dan 500 mg/kgBB selama 2 minggu. Uji statistik menggunakan uji normalitas dengan uji Shapiro Wilk, Uji homogenitas (uji Levene test) , Uji one way Anova berupa Uji Kruskal-Wallis dan dilanjutkan uji post hoc Hasil Hasil menunjukan penurunan kolesterol secara bermakna pada kelompok perlakuan 1, 2 dan 3 (9.835 mg/dl, 70.43 mg/dl,30.603 mg/dl dengan p<0,05). Penurunan kadar trigliserid secara bermakna pada kelompok perlakuan 1,2,dan 3 (47.745 mg/dl, 70.43 mg/dl, 84,25 mg/dl) Kesimpulan Pemberian ekstrak kelopak bunga rosella berpengaruh terhadap penurunan kadar kolesterol dan trigliserid pada tikus putih jantan. Background: Dyslipidemia is an abnormal amount of lipids in the blood. The anomaly which happens is the increasing of total cholesterol content (Hypercholesterolemia), the decreasing of High Density Lipoprotein (HDL) content, the increasing of Low Density Lipoprotein (LDL) content, or the increasing of Triglycerides content in the blood (Hyper triglycerides). The aid of hypercholesterolemia can be conducted both pharmacologically and non-pharmacologically. The standard pharmacological medicine for hypercholesterolemia is simvastatin, and one of the traditional medicines which can be used is rosella calyx containing the active flavonoid and anthocyanin for repairing lipid profile. Aim: To know the effect of rosella calyx extract (Hibicus Sabdariffa) in reducing the amount of lipids in the blood on hyper cholesterol white rats. Method: This research was experiment along with pre and posttest control group research design. 30 male rats as experimental animals were induced by high cholesterol feeding, and then randomly divided into 5 groups (n = 6); one negative control group, one positive control group received simvastatin with the dose of 0.18 mg/kgBB, experimental groups 1,2, and 3 received rosella calyx extract 125 mg/kgBB, 250 mg/kgBB, and 500 mg/kgBB in two weeks. The statistic test used normality test by Shapiro Wilk test, homogeneity test (Levene test), Anova one-way test by Kruskal-Wallis, and then post hoc test. Findings: The findings showed the significant decreasing of cholesterol on the experimental groups 1, 2, and 3 (9.835 mg/dl, 70.43 mg/dl, 30.603 mg/dl with p < 0.05) and the significant decreasing of triglycerides content on the experimental groups 1, 2, and 3 (47.745 mg/dl, 70.43 mg/dl, 84.25 mg/dl) Conclusion: Giving rosella calyx extract influences the decreasing of cholesterol and triglyceride content on male white rats.
