Abstract
Menurut WHO mengelompokkan virus SARSCoV-2 menjadi dua kategori, yaitu variant of interest (VOI) dan variant of concern (VOC).
Background: Coronavirus Disease (Covid-19) is an infectious disease caused by a new type of Coronavirus Disease, this virus forms a positive RNA virus molecule that is shaped like a crown that can be seen from an electron microscope, this virus is small (60-140nm). According to WHO, the SARS-CoV-2 virus is classified into two categories, namely variant of interest (VOI) and a variant of concern (VOC). The VOI category is given if there is a new mutation with implications for its phenotype and can become a VOC.
Destinations: The purpose of this study was to analyze the relationship between public knowledge and compliance with the Covid-19 protocol in the work area of the Jalaksana Health Center, Kuningan Regency.
Method: This research is analytic observational research with a cross-sectional design. Data collection in this study was carried out in, Jalaksana village, Kuningan district with a total sample of 508 people.
Results: The results of the Chi Square comparative test analysis showed a p-value of 0.000 < 0.050, so there was a significant relationship between the relationship between public knowledge and adherence to the Covid-19 protocol in the Jalaksana Public Health Center, Kuningan district. Odds ratio value of 19,024 means that respondents with good knowledge have a tendency to obey 19,024 or 19 times greater than respondents with less knowledge.
Conclusion: There is a significant relationship between the relationship between public knowledge and adherence to the Covid-19 protocol in the working area of the Jalaksana Public Health Center, Kuningan Regency.
Key words: Covid-19, Knowledge, Compliance with Covid-19 Protocol.
