Latar Belakang : Pemeriksaan radiologi toraks merupakan pemeriksaan yang sangat penting dan metode yang paling sering digunakan oleh dokter. Perkembangan teknik pengolahan citra pada saat ini sangat membantu dalam dunia kesehatan terutama dalam pendeteksian penyakit. Pemeriksaan foto toraks sudah menjadi acuan utama untuk mengetahui kelainan-kelainan yang terjadi di rongga toraks, sehingga dokter dapat melakukan tindakan secara benar sesuai dengan informasi yang didapatkan. Tingkat pengetahuan mahasiswa mempunyai beberapa faktor yaitu dari lama studi. Lama studi pada mahasiswa/i akan mempengaruhi tingkat pengetahuan terhadap pembacaan radiografi toraks secara baik dan benar.
Tujuan : untuk mengetahui tingkat pengetahuan mahasiswa/i Fakultas Kedokteran Universitas Gunung Jati terhadap radiografi toraks normal.
Metode : Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian observasional analitik dengan pendekatan cross sectional (potong lintang). Populasi terjangkau dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh mahasiwa/i angkatan 2018, 2019 dan 2020 Fakultas Kedokteran Universitas Swadaya Gunung Jati yang berjumlah 221 orang. Data yang didapat kemudian dianalisis menggunakan uji korelasi Spearman.
Hasil : Tingkat pengetahuan mahasiswa/I Fakultas Kedokteran Universitas Swadaya Gunung Jati terhadap radiografi toraks normal dalam kategori baik. Terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara lama studi dengan tingkat pengetahuan mahasiswa/i Fakultas Kedokteran Universitas Swadaya Gunung Jati terhadap radiografi toraks normal (p=<0,001)
Kesimpulan : Terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara lama studi dengan tingkat pengetahuan mahasiswa/i Fakultas Kedokteran Universitas Swadaya Gunung Jati terhadap radiografi toraks normal

Background : Thoracic radiology examination is a very important examination and the method most often used by doctors. The development of image processing techniques at this time is very helpful in the world of health, especially in the detection of disease. Thoracic photo examination has become the main reference to determine abnormalities that occur in the thoracic cavity, so that doctors can take action correctly in accordance with the information obtained. The level of knowledge of students has several factors, namely the length of study. The length of study in students will affect the level of knowledge of Thoracic radiography readings properly.
Objective: To determine the level of knowledge of students of the Faculty of Medicine, University of Gunung Jati to normal thoracic radiography.
Methods: This type of research is obserasional analytical research with cross sectional approach (cross-sectional). The Affordable population in this study was all students of the 2018, 2019 and 2020 classes of the Faculty of Medicine, Swadaya University Gunung Jati, which amounted to 221 people. The data obtained were then analyzed using the Spearman correlation test.
Results: The level of knowledge of students of the Faculty of Medicine, University of Swadaya Gunung Jati to normal thoracic radiography in the good category. There is a significant relationship between the length of study with the level of knowledge of students / I Faculty of Medicine, University of Swadaya Gunung Jati to normal thoracic radiography (p=<0,001)
Conclusion: There is a significant relationship between the length of study with the level of knowledge of students of the Faculty of Medicine, University of Swadaya Gunung Jati to normal thoracic radiography
