Abstract
meningkatkan risiko terkena penyakit.
berusia >50 tahun yaitu 31 orang (31,6%). Pendidikan terakhir sebagian besar
mendapat pelatihan PHBS sejumlah 79 (80,6%). Terdapat hubungan sikap
Kata kunci: Intensi, PHBS, Theory of Planned Behavior
Background: Clean and healthy living behavior (PHBS) is a health behavior that
is recommended to be carried out by individuals, groups and every household.
The lack of clean and healthy living behavior in the community can increase the
risk of disease.
Objective: This study aims to determine the application of TPB to assess the
community's intention to carry out PHBS in the working area of Pulasaren Health
Center.
Methods: Quantitative research with the analytic observational method with the
cross sectional design was conducted from June-July 2022 on residents of RW 02
Kacirebonan, Pulasaren Village, Cirebon City with a total sample of 99 people
obtained by consecutive sampling.
Results: Characteristics of respondents showed that most of the respondents were
>50 years old, namely 31 people (31.6%). The most recent education was
elementary school as many as 46 (46.9%) and respondents who had never
received PHBS training as many as 79 (80.6%). There is a relationship between
attitudes (p = 0.000 r = 0.538) with a strong correlation strength and the direction
of a positive relationship, subjective norms (p = 0.000 r = 0.414) with a strong
correlation strength and a positive relationship direction, and perceived behavioral
control (p = 0.000 r = 0.568 ) with a strong correlation strength and the direction
of a positive relationship with the community's intention to carry out PHBS.
Conclusion: There is a significant relationship between attitudes, subjective
norms, and perceived behavioral control with the intention to carry out PHBS.
