The laboratory is a very important lecture support facility in a university.
University of Swadaya Gunung Jati (UGJ) Cirebon is one of the leading
private universities in West Java. The development of Science and
Technology has encouraged UGJ Cirebon to open several new study
programs, so that the need for lecture support facilities such as laboratories
increases. With this increase and the lack of organized existing laboratories,
therefore a new laboratory is planned with a more organized and efficient
concept.
The method used in this planning is to plan a new building using a reinforced
concrete structure by considering the safety of the structure guided by SNI
2847:2019 Structural Concrete Requirements for Building Buildings, SNI
1726:2019 Earthquake resistance planning procedures for building and
non-building structure and SNI 1727:2020 Concerning the loading of the
structure.
To find out the safety of the structure, an analysis of structural elements was
carried out using ETABS v19.0.0 software. Based on the results of the
analysis, it was reanalyzed using SNI and obtained dimensional output and
repeating of each element of the structure that is safe and appropriate for
the building that is being planned.
