Abstract

Blended learning is a learning strategy that combines offline learning, commonly known as face-to-face learning, and online learning. In this study, the learning management system used as a support implementation for blended learning is google classroom. This study aims to look into how learners' perceptions about blended learning model in language English course and to know what factors can influence learners' perceptions of blended learning are also examined in this study. 8 undergraduate students are participated in this study. In order to collect data, researchers created a questionnaire in the form of a google form, which participants answered to online, and conducted interviews via virtual meetings (zoom). The results show that students' perceptions of the blended learning model reflect favorable perceptions of positive beliefs, feelings, and behaviors toward it. The learners think that using the blended learning model with the learning management system (google classroom) to teach and learn English is advantageous for lecturers and college students, although students enjoy and find it simple to use the blended learning approach, it is not as effective for them as face-to-face learning.
