Abstract

Listening is one of the basic skills in English. Listening is the ability to hear other people's voices or words, and then understand the meaning contained in them. Listening has many benefits, including helping to improve your ability to speak and understand words contained in English. The aim of this research is to find out what are students perception
regarding the application of multimodality in learning listening. This study was carried out involving five students of SMAN 1 Susukan, using a qualitative approach. Data collection involves interviews. In interviews conducted with students, it was found that video media was appropriate to use in listening learning and the response from students was that students were interested and became creative in learning listening with English video media.
