Abstract

Covid-19 pandemic has caused the education sector to stop learning in the classroom. As a result, education switches to using electronic learning (elearning), one of which is using YouTube as a learning and teaching medium. The study aims to discuss student perceptions during learning and teaching using youtube media, the advantages of youtube as a teaching medium, and the shortcomings of youtube as a teaching medium. This study involved 3 participants from universities in Cirebon. The findings show that each participant has a different perception of responding to e-learning using youtube media, and found several strength factors using youtube-based teaching-learning media, such as youtube provides a lot of learning materials, The ease in using youtube, and can be used and used. Flexible in time and place, the disadvantages of using youtubebased teaching-learning media include financial constraints and problem of internet connectivity.
