Abstract

Emotional geography describes the patterns of closeness and distance in human interactions that shape the emotions we experience about relationships to ourselves, each other, and the world around us. The aim of this research is to investigate international student‟s feeling during online learning. This qualitative study examines international student‟s feeling in online learning during pandemic of COVID-19. The data is collected in the form of reflective writing based on international student‟s experience in following International Credit Transfer Program. The findings show that international student experiences a variety of emotional struggles across the emotional geography of sociocultural dimension. Based on the language parameters (inclination, satisfaction, security, happiness, disinclination, dissatisfaction, insecurity, and unhappiness) international student experiences a variety of positive and negative feelings within online learning during pandemic of COVID-19. International student feels positive feeling during online learning.
