Abstract
In 2020 Indonesia stipulated that the teaching and learning process be applied online. Learning amid a pandemic creates digital literacy in the world of education. This study examines the experiences of a university teacher in teaching EFL in Indonesia amid the COVID-19 using digital literacy. The researcher took a sample of one male university teacher in the faculty of education and science majoring in English following a photo shoot and interview session. The thematic analysis identified three themes: digital technology tools used in online teaching, instructional strategies of teaching amid COVID-19, and challenges and problems of teaching amid COVID-19. The use of photovoice is able to capture details of university teacher activities while teaching amid COVID-19.
