Abstract
This practitioner's investigation explores the application of cooperative learning in English as a Foreign Language (EFL) classes. Cooperative learning is a pedagogical approach that emphasizes collaborative interactions between students to enhance language learning. This study aims to investigate the effectiveness of incorporating cooperative learning strategies in an EFL context and to gain insight into their impact on student engagement, language proficiency and the overall learning experience. Collaborative assignments encourage active participation, peer interaction, and the development of communication skills. In addition, cooperative learning appears to foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment. The implementation of cooperative learning was carried out when I was doing PLP (Pengenalan Lapangan Persekolahan).
