Abstract
This research discusses the readiness of English education department students who
will carry out teaching practice. This research aims to determine the problem of
their readiness when they want to carry out teaching practice. The research design
in this study uses a case study method with a qualitative approach. To collect data,
researchers used an instrument in the form of interviews. Participants in this
research were six English education department students who would carry out
teaching practice. Data that has been collected through interviews will be analyzed
through introducing the data, reviewing research objectives and related data,
indexing or coding data for organization and analysis, interpreting data, and
identifying research themes to answer research questions.
